Our felt caps are designed to snap over your existing glides and provide an economical solution to replacing and fixing worn glides. These glides work well for mid and deep profile chair glides. These caps are commonly found on Virco Manufacturing Artco Bell and Smith Systems chairs. Repair and replace worn and damaged glides with our extra deep caps. Our felt caps install easily over existing glides and prevent floor damage or scratching that a worn or damaged glide can cause adding new life to old school glides. The felt base also allows school chairs to slide easily over VCT tile or wood flooring without the annoying screeching sound thereby reducing noise in the classroom and creating a better learning environment. These glides contain an adhesive felt pad integrated into the base to create and felt base glide and provide all the benefits of felt. Fits nylon and metal base glides with a 1-1/4'' inch base (diameter).
